Who We Are
Our dynamic Presbyterian (ECO) church is powered by nearly 100 dedicated Covenant Partners. Together, we engage with a vibrant congregation of regularly attending non-members, creating a multigenerational community that thrives on diversity and inclusivity which embodies our commitment to Scriptural adherence, prayer, and traditional values. With an annual budget of $276,000, we invest in our mission, supported by a dedicated staff of a full-time office administrator, a skilled pianist, and a technical team of two. Our facilities are maintained by a gardener and custodian under the supervision of our Buildings and Grounds Elder, and a live-in Covenant Partner provides oversight of the campus. Join us as we build connections, and transform lives through action and faith in Jesus.
The mission of ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians is to build flourishing churches that make disciples of Jesus Christ.
ECO is committed to cultivating a healthy, diverse, resource-rich ecosystem where pastors and congregations can flourish.
Founded in January 2012, ECO is a Presbyterian denomination that exists to serve the local church. ECO seeks to nurture leaders and connect congregations so as to reclaim a sense of covenanted biblical community with a denominational context.
The name ECO is not an acronym. It reinforces our passion for strengthening the ecosystems of local churches. We believe that the Church is a living organism that needs life-giving resources to help it grow, thrive, and multiply. ECO is committed to cultivating a healthy, diverse, resource-rich ecosystem where pastors and congregations can flourish.
The full name (ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians) speaks to our core commitments:
- Covenant: To connect leaders in accountable relationships and encourage collaboration
- Order: To commit to a shared way of life as we unite around a shared theological core
- Evangelical: To advance the gospel of Jesus Christ and plant new missional communities
- Presbyterian: To stand within our Reformed heritage and celebrate the life of the mind
